Bodies on Stage - August 4-6
An exploration of the body as a performance medium, this three-day workshop will engage the physical actor by exposing them to various forms of alternative, physical performance. Explorations in contact improvisation, automatic movement, and state-of-being performances will build the tools actors need to better understand and utilize their bodies. Led by Artistic Director Reid Vanier and Associate Artist Reanna Sartoretto, this workshop culminates in the creation and performance of both a solo and a group performance.

Dancing for Actors – TBA
A introductory workshop beneficial to any actor, it will explore a foundational approach to dance. Combining an examination of the physical tools required for dance as well as instruction in the basics of specific dances, actors will gain a new perspective on their relationship to their bodies, as well as an experience with the performative power of dance. Led by Ciaran Myers, this workshop is designed for those actors with little to no experience in dance.
